A small church on Amisk Lake. We want to help people meet God and be useful to the town we live in.
Worship, teaching, coffee after.
We took over Amisk Lake Church this past month and we're rebuilding it — the music, the teaching, how we show up around town.
We're not interested in religion as a performance. We're interested in whether God is real and actually changes things.
Come skeptical, come tired, come with questions. You don't need to have anything figured out first.
Worship isn't a warm-up act and the Bible isn't a history lecture. We make room for God to show up.
We believe God still heals, still speaks, still moves. So we pray for people and expect something to happen. No hype, no pressure.
If it only works inside the building, it doesn't work. It should show up in how you treat people the rest of the week.
Walk in, grab a coffee, sit wherever.
Jeans, work clothes. Nobody's checking.
Music, teaching, prayer, coffee after.
Loud ones included.
We won't make you stand up or give money.
If we use a word that only makes sense in church, call us on it.
Come back or don't. Up to you.
Long winters, small towns. A church that only meets Sunday morning isn't much help with that.
So we look for the practical stuff — a hand with something, a meal, a ride, someone to sit with you.
We also throw good events. Food, people, no strings. Everyone's invited.
